Global Citizen Service Fair 9/23

Here's a message from the Krista Foundation for Global Citizenship.

"Think Globally-Move Locally! Bike, Walk, or Stroll with The Krista Foundation" on September 23rd. Join us as we enjoy the great outdoors, affirm and encourage a life long ethic of service & positive engagement in our interconnected global community. Based out of Seward Park in Seattle, participants can choose between a short and long bike route or a 2.4 mile walk. Post event Global Citizen Service Fair featuring local organizations who sponsor volunteer opportunities ranging from long term international to service to kids & family opportunities. "Think Globally-Move Locally" themed drawings, child activities and fine company!

The Krista Foundation for Global Citizenship provides Leadership & Service Development Grants and mentoring to young Christian adults who are embarking on long term volunteer assignments in either: developing nations, American cities or environmental projects. Note: The Krista Foundation honors the memory of UPS graduate Krista Hunt Ausland who died at age 25 while doing community development work in rural Bolivia with her husband, Aaron Ausland, a member of the IPE class of 1996.
