The Politics of Reproductive Health among Bangladeshi Women

Jessica Frank is an IPE senior and participant in the 2008-09 Pac Rim program. She will present research she conducted abroad on the challenges Bangladeshi women face in securing reproductive rights and services. Her talk will highlight the family planning programs promoted in rural Bangladesh by Pathfinder International, a non-governmental organization working in over 25 countries around the globe. Her research evaluated the reasons for Pathfinder’s success in addressing long-standing barriers to reproductive health.
