IPE Field Trip to PATH in Seattle

Interested in Global Public Health?

Join the IPE Department for a tour of the new PATH offices, an "international nonprofit organization that creates sustainable, culturally relevant solutions, enabling communities worldwide to break longstanding cycles of poor health." Seattle is currently at the center of the global health discussion, for both its NGO involvement and research. PATH is an outstanding organization in Seattle and is recognized on a global level. If you are unfamiliar with PATH as an organization, feel free to check out their website at www.path.org. The tour will be lead by University of Puget Sound alumni, Mr. Scott Jackson '80, and Vice President of External Relations at PATH. Mr. Jackson delivered the Commencement address for our recent graduates.

The tour will take place on Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 starting at 11:00am. We leave for Seattle at 10:00am and plan to return by 3:00pm. After the tour we will have lunch in Seattle paid for by the IPE Department. There is only room for 12 students to join, so it is first come - first served.

If you are interested in joining this trip or have questions, please contact Elizabeth (Lizzie) Cohen at emcohen@pugetsound.edu as soon as possible. We hope you can join us for this unique experience!
