Ali Hoover studied the role of financial need in
decision-making within nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) by working with the
Cheerful Hearts Foundation in Kasoa, Ghana. Through her role as an intern on
their Child Labor Project, she was able to gain a first-hand glimpse of what
it takes to successfully manage an NGO. She'll discuss the mission of
Cheerful Hearts and reflect on her position in the foundation.
