Help Wanted: Write on Social Enterprise for HuffPost

This just in from Jessica Frank, IPE '09, who is an IDEX Fellow working in India. The photo shows Jessica (in blue) at work on a 2011 school garden project in Hyderabad.

Greetings from India! I hope this finds you well and enjoying your last week of school before the holidays.

I wanted to quickly share this competition launched by the Schwab Foundation for a student contributor to the Huffington Post's social enterprise section. If any of the UPS students are interested in social enterprise, this is an amazing opportunity to not only explore and share their interests, but also to have access to a renowned network of journalists, academics, entrepreneurs, and policy experts in the field.

Because they want the stories to come from the student's environment, one who is studying abroad this spring may be best.

Perhaps it is something that could be shared on the blog or just mentioned to students you think might be interested. Also if you could pass on to someone in the business department, that would be wonderful.

I'd be very happy to speak with any students interested in applying.

Thanks!! Happy Holidays!
