Wondering about how to create change in the world? Come hear Ed Bland of Williamsworks talk about
“Making a Living and Making a Difference”
Thursday, April 21 @ 4 PM, Thompson 391

Williamsworks is a social-impact consulting firm in Seattle, working with non-profits, for-profits and individual philanthropists to increase the effectiveness of their projects worldwide. Their clients include The Eastern Congo Initiative, Lululemon, Tom’s Shoes, the Gates Foundation, Leonardo Di Caprio and Ben Affleck.
Prior to Williamsworks, Ed worked for Habitat for Humanity and the microfinance organization Unitus (where he was president and COO). In a previous life, he was a banker, worked in publishing and led Microsoft’s marketing efforts for Xbox. Ed will talk about his own non-linear path and offer suggestions to students on how they might find their way to “good” work.
