Spring Break Port of Tacoma Tour

I know many of you are staying in the area for spring break, so I would like to invite you to join the IPE Program for a spring break break -- a study tour of the Port of Tacoma!

The tour is scheduled for Thursday, March 15. We will gather in Jones Circle and car-pool to the Port for a tour of its operations and facilities -- a chance to see how international trade works in practice and how trade connects the local with the global. After the tour we will go to a local ethnic restaurant for a nice lunch (IPE will pick up the tab).

Seats are very limited for this tour. You must RSVP by Noon this Friday March 9 by sending an email to Professor Veseth at veseth@ups.edu.

The schedule is:
Meet at Jones circle at 9:30 am to car pool to the Port
Port of Tacoma tour at 10 am
Lunch at local restaurant
Back on campus in the early afternoon

RSVP now if you'd like to reserve a seat on this study tour. The Fall Break study tour of the recycled clothing export facility was a real hit and this event promises to be even better.
