IPE major Peter Bittner will present his summer research findings on "Spain's Economic Crisis: How Social Effects Lead to Political Opinions on Economic Policies"
A brief introduction from Peter:
"Spain, particularly Andalucía, has suffered profoundly from the 2008 global economic crisis. Many policies have been developed by the central government to reach a long-term solution, the most recent and controversial of which has been the labor market reform. In the Brown Bag presentation, I will discuss my research investigating the complex relationship between the social effects of the crisis and the political opinions of Spaniards regarding the labor policy. The presentation will cover the methods, results, conclusions, and challenges of the research as well as the application process for the IPE Summer Fellowship. Please come and check it out!"
