Kristin Gjelsteen ('14) wins undergraduate research paper award

Kristin Gjelsteen (IPE '14) has received the Agriculture, Food, and Human Values Society's 2014 student paper award in the undergraduate category.

Her paper, "The Politics of Transgenic Food: An Ethnographically-Informed Analysis of the Ban on Genetically Modified Crops in Bolivia," was the product of research she conducted in Bolivia in 2013 with support from an IPE Summer Research Fellowship.
