Acclaimed journalist, NPR commentator, and columnist for
The Washington Post, E.J. Dionne will present
“Our Divided Political Heart: The Battle for the American Idea in an Age of Discontent” on Tuesday, March 25, at 8 p.m., in Schneebeck Concert Hall, as part of the Susan Resneck Pierce Lecture series. His
Washington Post column
runs in more than 100 newspapers in the United States and abroad, and
he's the author of five books, including the best-selling
Why Americans Hate Politics (1991), which won the
Los Angeles Times Book
Prize. Admission to the lecture is free for faculty and staff members,
but tickets are required. Tickets are available at the Info Center.
